Welcome!

We finally have warm weather, vacations, family gatherings and some time to relax after the busy seasons of Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent and Easter. The season of Pentecost is upon us. The church calls this season “ordinary time.” At Saint Paul’s it seems that no time is ordinary; every season is alive and full of energy. During this “ordinary time” our worship focuses less on theology and more on our day-to-day lives: how God loves and blesses us and how can we love and bless one another.

During this “ordinary time”, Saint Paul’s is no ordinary place. The youth program, Sunday School, and choir will continue in full swing. We will worship and picnic July 4th weekend outside under the trees on a local farm. Some of us will spend one or two weeks at Camp Arrowhead. Some of us will travel to the Appalachian Mountains for a week to help those who are less fortunate. Some will continue to plan and prepare for the Distant Neighbors fair trade festival. And some of us will have vacations this summer.

God loves and cherishes each of us, regardless of the season.

Everyone is welcome into Christ’s family at Saint Paul’s church. Join us for some not so ordinary times during this season of “ordinary time.”

Earl Beshears, Rector

Our Mission at St. Paul's

We will respond to God's call to us by providing an inviting, welcoming and nurturing community for all to worship God; encouraging and supporting lay ministries; and proclaiming the Good News of God's love through word and deed.
